Jack’s 22nd birthday came and went as did Christmas. We survived both but without much grace or respite. On 15 April 2019, he will be one year dead. Not sure we have too many lives left or the continuing strength to pass each of these milestones as the cycle is never ending and they start again each year. The rotation is the unavoidable and painful legacy that Jack’s death has left us with yet everyone tells us it gets easier. When does that start exactly …..?
